windowfunc [phonTools]

A window function is generated, of the type and length specified by the user, and returned as a numeric vector. If a vector is given, a window of the same length as the vector is generated.

Code used to generate examples:

library (phonTools) par (mfrow = c(2,3), mar = c(4.1,4.1,1.1,1.1)) ## compare different window shapes plot (windowfunc (500, 'hann'), type = 'l',lwd=2, ylab='') plot (windowfunc (500, 'bartlett'), type = 'l',lwd=2,col=2, ylab='') plot (windowfunc (500, 'kaiser', parameter = 2), type = 'l',lwd=2,col=3, ylab='') plot (windowfunc (500, 'kaiser', parameter = 6), type = 'l',lwd=2,col=4, ylab='') plot (windowfunc (500, 'cosine'), type = 'l',lwd=2,col=5, ylab='') plot (windowfunc (500, 'gaussian'), type = 'l',lwd=2,col=6, ylab='')
